Just curious ... anyone else order their Obama shirts in mid-September and haven't gotten them yet?

I ordered from the campaign (along with a "Yes We Can" button), which said they'd mail them out within a week or two, back in mid-September. I got a note a week or two ago (with my bumper sticker) that they're back-ordered and will come later. I wanted them for campaign events, door-to-door, etc. Now, I guess I won't get them till AFTER the election.

No big deal ... I just wondered whether others didn't get their gear. I'm not gonna bother the campaign asking where my shirts are ... just wondering whether others have had the same experience.

If I'm not gonna get my gear till after the election, then maybe they'd better send me a button saying "Yes We Did!"

1. I ordered mine in June and got it in September.

I was hoping to be wearing the Obama charm I ordered for my charm bracelet when I voted, but doesn't look like that will happen. Next time, I'm supporting the guy who's not the most popular.

11. My doorbell just rang .....

.... and when I opened the door, there was a box marked, "McCain Campaign Swag" and there was a car with a McCain/Palin bumper sticker speeding out of my driveway.

I'm gonna call the cops. Darn tresspassers!

I ordered a Missouri state shirt from the campaign site on August 6th - it arrived yesterday. Better late than never, I guess. At least I received it before the election. I'm guessing they're busting it to get all of the backorders out before November 4th.

Yes, the official Obama store is very slow. www.demstore.com has a great selection and very fast service - I got things from them within 3 days. It is also a union shop.

12. Too Bad for Future Campaigns

I had a similar experience. It really irritated me, especially because the Obama hoodie was not for me but for my elderly mother, who's backed Obama from the start. She's also supported him generously. She was disappointed when her hoodie never arrived and never arrived.

Well, the thing finally showed up, but the whole deal left a crappy taste in my mouth, and I'll never again order campaign swag from anyone's campaign website. From now on: In person, in cash ... the end. Too bad.
