5. Don't think he needs to right now
If the reporters cover it enough, he'll have to apoligize anyway. if he dosn't, then we can make a big deal about it.

10. They haven't apologized for killing 3000 civilians
and over a 1000 military - "they" don't apologize to anyone. "they" are God

7. Cheney's getting desparate!
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 06:46 PM by liberalmuse
John Kerry should say something like, 'I didn't realize Dick Cheney could predict the future--it sure didn't work for him in planning the war on Iraq. All I know is 9-11 happened on Cheney's and Bush's watch. I will promise you this, as President, I will not go on vacation for a month at a time, nor will I ignore intelligence that warns of an impending attack.'

8. JFK should make a forceful statement...
pointing out and ridiculing Cheney-Head's fear-mongering. And absolutely point out the irony of it considering that 9/11 (and ignoring the threat of terrorism prior to 9/11) happened on BushCo's watch!!!!!

9. Kerry should have alittle fun with Cheney, I really liked his comment
"If you think Cheney is swearing now, wait till November!" He needs to show he's not afraid of the Chucky VP. He's not afraid of someone who clearly ran from service and had 7 deferments! I can't wait for Kerry's speeches tomorrow, I'm finally energized! Well..more energized, I just signed up for MoveOn.org get the vote out!

13. Sorry, can we drop the "JFK"? I know Kerry himself doesn't promote this.
How about JK?

Or just Kerry?

Or K/E?

14. "The American People deserve better".
Than a VP who would use threats on the campaign trail. What Cheney said is a classic case of sour grapes. Shows that he does not love this country.

17. No need to beg for an apology that won't be forthcoming
Just slam them - Edwards did it great: said he's telling the American people it will be THEIR fault if we're attacked.

That's the way to go.

21. Kerry campaign handled it like a pro today!
Edwards hit back.

Kerry needs to hit Bush as Bush hits Kerry/Edwards. Edwards hits Cheney as Cheney hits Kerry/Edwards. That's the way it needs to stay.

The surrogates need to do their jobs in the pits and sling the mud. Throw as much out there as possible then see what's sticking.
