The logic for Kerry bashing has gone into a "frenzy". There are no facts. Hardball tonight was nothing other than a "Sex frenzy for terra and Shrub"

Something is very wierd...

3. Bush leads mainly in TERRA
that's why media is concentrating on this

they're citing the internals of these polls that show Bush leading on this, and gaining in Iraq, too, as a result of the conflation, 911-style of WOT and Iraq

very simple; media doing pug bidding in the most transparent, shameless manner

6. I Agree This Is The Only Explanation
If Bush was truly ahead we would hear none of this type of negative campaigning.

Since big business needs Bush to continue their agenda, they are pulling out all the stops to defend their interests.

14. I've fired off an angry e-mail to Hardball. . .
asking Chris why is it that he doesn't criticize Bush for not riding horses on his ranch like he does Kerry for not playing team sports. I asked why was it that they aren't reporting his gaffes like the "we can't win a war on terror" which he was forced to retract on Limbaugh last week and the ob-gyn gaffe yesterday. I pointed out that if he would have been a Democrat they would have already called in three head docs to diagnose whatever ails him. Not to mention a few more doctors to diagnose whatever causes that horrible sweating he seems to do. I also pointed out that these critiques some to be reserved solely for Democrats while * seems to get the benefit of the doubt every single time. They seem to think it "mean" to make fun of his speech problems. Why aren't they analyzing the root causes of them instead? Yes, I ranted and raved. Fat lot of good it will do.

15. Tired of the coporate media?
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 06:57 PM by liberalmuse
Don't watch them. Don't buy products made by companies who own and control the media. I know, easier said than done. They own EVERYTHING. Realistically, I'd love to see an online network where a couple of people tape the news and we could link to them without giving the media our hits or Nielsen ratings and our money. AAR did a service by broadcasting the RNC convention overdubbed with snarky comments and the TV stations didn't get our hits. I'd love to see people who are tired of being ruled by the corporate oligarchy barter and trade with one another instead of putting our money into the very monster that continually bites us in the @ss. I'd love to see wages go underground so our tax dollars won't go to fatten up the rich and wage war against the poor. One day...

17. Internal polls...
I think what we are seeing is a true "grass roots" campaign. Kerry rallies turn out tens of thousands of people. We political junkies forget that very few people care what the pundits have to say. It's 15 minutes (if that many) of NBC, CBS, or CBS in the evening and then on to something else.
