Idea: Bring lawn chairs to hand out to those who need them

just a thought--with all the voter turnout going on now and surely on Tuesday, I think it would be a nice gesture to bring a few lawn chairs to help those who are elderly or disabled-ambulatory and waiting in long lines.

Of course it's illegal to campaign at a voting site, but, if asked, you could say, "I just wanted to help out because I think everyone deserves equality and the opportunity to vote," or whatnot. (I'm sure some of you folks are creative and can think of better things to say, without actually campaigning. Probably not a good idea to say, "you look as tired and cranky as that McCain asshole!")

Good idea? Dumb idea? If you like it, consider doing it. If you don't, then forget about it.

If you like it, probably a good idea to write your name on the back or temporarily sew on a name tag, though I doubt any Obama folks would be as likely to steal a chair as "some" folks.
