She's a tough broad (and I mean that as the highest form of flattery) who has done all of her homework for this book. She more than anyone else knows the Bush family back door, nasty way of doing business. I have no doubt she has protected herself. She will come out swinging if she feels she's getting the short end of the stick with any interviewer. She is clever and entertaining both in written form and on the tube. 6. So much for newsguyatl's prediction of a media blackout

Hey,

In general I'm irked by DUers who confidently predict the future without so much as an "I believe" prefacing it. And especially when their prediction is BAD NEWS FOR OUR SIDE. When there is an implicit claim of inside knowledge and a terribly depressing message (in this case that Kelley's book would be totally ignored by the media) I find it extremely discouraging. Everything I know as a public librarian made me question his confident naysaying-- Kelley hasn't failed to cause a media sensation with any of her recent books and this one is more timely than any of them. And yet, because I presumed he had inside knowledge of a media blackout, I was quite alarmed by his confident prediction.
