Does everyone here know who their precinct captain is? Have you
called him or her to see if you can help with computer work, walking blocks, giving out campaign literature, registering voters, making phone calls, making coffee, donating your Christmas card and/or club list of names for potential Dem voters? Have you talked to at least 10 undecided voters trying to sway their votes. Are you putting all that good DU energy and brain power to work to make a difference? Tell us what you did/are doing so we can all get some good ideas and feel more positive and work even harder. Thanks you. (No person running for office approved this thread. Am I in trouble?)

8. pretty good it seems, I am seeing tons of K/E stickers
and we have had great turnout every weekend for canvassing

we had 20 people show up for our little district last Saturday and that's up 8 from the week before

here in Maricopa county Kerry only has to stay close to Bush and the rest of the state will bag if for the Dems :bounce:

7. Okay, we have many precinct chairs checking in. How about the ones
who are not. What kind of help are you needing as a chair?

9. Can you provide some advice to help id the captain?
I have only lived in my community for 4 1/2 years and it is a bedroom community. I have tried visiting our County Dem HQ but can never find it open. (I think they are working festivals and the like).
But it is hard to come into an new community and find some of this info.
Thanks

if the county doesn't have the info look for the state HQ website or call over there

11. First locate your county/parish Democratic Chair. This can be done by
an internet search using your state Dem site and going to your own county. Call or e-mail that person and id your precinct (The precinct info should be on your voter's id.)and ask for the name of your chair. Let me know if that works. Also, try the new DU state threads and ask for someone near your location and they should be able to help. Thanks for trying and do not give up. Please let me know if you are successful or need more assistance. What state are you in?
