Just in time for the Sunday talking heads to realize the election process needs to be redesigned.

1. I agree that the process needs to be redesigned, but I have no problem at all
with the vote count taking several days.

2. It'll be called, however, by 11:30 PM Eastern
The vote tallies won't be compelted for several days, but the outcome will definitely be known.

8. I don't think so
I think most polls will close at the normal time with a very few exceptions.

I honestly don't think that the race is going to be so close that it's going to take 2-3 days to figure out who actually won and McCain/Palin would be batshit crazy (which I know they are but.....) to try to contest the "battleground" states they end up losing (and it most likely won't be close enough in most of those either).

6. nah
For that reason alone the vote count will be made to look easy. They know they can't steal it this time so they will fade away for now and allow the tide of rightness to flow.

Now if you're thinking of congress races, yes, they will muck those up... can't have Obama and congress working together.

They let this election go smooth and all us Election Reform people will be shouted down thereby keeping true reform on the back burner and opening the door for 2010 elections to be ripped off.

7. Nope..... Most state are counted electronically now.... witness the Primaries...

Sure... absentee ballots might take a week... but Obama will have clinched without them.
