ok, just took my sick ass to vote.

Spiked a 101.3 fever as soon as I got to school today (like being sick? teach elementary kids), so they made me go home. By the time I got back here, though, the ibuprofen horse pill had kicked in, so I went up to Hiram to stand in line in the cold wind for an hour.

Understand - this is a *very* red area of a red state, tres country. 10:30 on a Wednesday morning, the line was still out into the parking lot. Roughly half African-American, which of course may not mean any damn thing at all, but I'll take it as a good sign.

I don't expect Obama or Jim Martin to win Paulding County by any stretch, but the area's changing. Given the kind of turnout Georgia has already seen, I'm very curious to see how things go next Tuesday. :thumbsup:
