the media's desire for ratings by keeping this artificially close is GREAT
because their desire for massive coverage watched by millions of viewers intersects with Obama campaign's desires to make sure voters for Obama and volunteers out in the field don't get complacent because polls show him leading substantially in some states.

Based on this, I kind of don't mind they are trying hard to flog this as a close election. The only poll that will matter is morning of November 5 when Obama and the Dems have DEMOLISHED McCain and Republican office seekers nationwide.

2. If repukes think they have it in the bag, they'll just stay home...
which is a vote for Obama as well.

4. This election is no longer in the hands of the media.
Its in our hands now. We are the ground game Barack is counting on. We need to work like the devil to bring this election home. Make calls, knock on doors, offer rides to the polls, and help out any way you can. We stand on the edge of a new America - we will make the difference.

Do it for our party, for our nation, and for our children.

YES WE CAN.
