Just got back from a lit drop

in a pretty run-down area of Columbus. I got hit on by an 18 year old (actually I think he was more like 15). Also had an older black gentleman tell me he was going to write me in for President. I told him to wait until 2012, this year is too important. ;)

Seriously though... this is just a plea to the big wide DU world: If you haven't gotten OUT THERE for Obama (and I know many, many of you have), do it!!! There are so many benefits!

(1) Get some fresh air and exercise! :)

(2) Meet new people. The aforementioned older black guy was psyched to see me in his neighborhood -- we chatted for several minutes, and he even took a few voter guides to give to friends.

(3) Relieve your stress. Seriously, staring at polls all day would make anyone craaaazy! :crazy: If you get out there and do something, it will make you feel like you have a little bit of control over the outcome of this election. Which leads me to the biggie...

(4) Make a difference in getting Barack H. Obama elected the next President of the United States of America!!!
