good news in Indiana, my home county, early voting to be extended due to turnout
Lake County election board voted to extend early voting through Friday, to include Saturday and Sunday and until noon on Monday. 4 hour wait times in Crown Point, my town. These people are voting Democrat people. Only members voting against extending hours were Republicans. We're going to turn Indiana blue!

5. It is Indiana state law that there be early voting Friday, Saturday and until noon on Monday.
It is great that they are adding Sunday and perhaps extending the beyond the normal 8 that state law requires... I am down in Monroe County and we got to vote last Sunday and this next one too -- also extended day length down here too. :hi:

9. Gotcha! I am very glad to hear Lake is VOTING. Lake, Marion, and Monroe were triplets
in terms of Obama votes during the primary -- very heavy for O. :hi:

6. Democrat or Republican...this is good news
Let's maintain this momentum and toss "the first Tuesday in November" on to the ash heap of history.

8. I am a county or two away from you, but ...
I voted early, too and I have NEVER seen so many people lined up to vote around here. I think the people of our state are coming out in record numbers! :woohoo:

12. I tried to go yesterday, but the wait was REALLY long
and my 6 y/o couldn't handle the wait. They only had 4 (4!!!) kiosks for all of Madison County! :wtf: I will have more than that in my precinct on Nov. 4th - and it is at a church where they let kids play with toys while parents wait. I think I may be forced to wait until then. :(
