9. I agree. The Kerry team should run a 30-second spot on stem-cell.
It's a big wedge issue in our favor. If Kerry & Team
use this issue wisely, they could turn a lot of Boomer
votes.

22. Did you see that woman from Luntz' focus group after *'s speech Thursday?
She had been undecided but definitely decided to vote for Bush because he was so strong on terrorism.

Then she mentioned that her job had been outsourced overseas
last year, her unemployment had run out, and she didn't know
what she was going to do.

THAT's how stupid the undecided are.

19. I agree and he should hint at who will be on the cabinet because
you would be amazed at how many people ask Bob Brinker on his radio show if Robert Rubin will be on the Team. The independent investors love Robert Rubin!

28. Yes, the economy. The failure in Iraq is self evident.
Kerry should keep the heat on Bush about Iraq, but the coup de grâce will be jobs. Sure, the economy has been good for Dick Cheney and the Saudis, but the average worker is still having a difficult time.

It needs to be explained in as simple terms as possible. Most people associate it with their credit cards and that's a good analogy.

Pre-911 and post 911. Of course Kerry will need to do a concise, believable, and easy to understand case. Have Bill Clinton prepare it, no one does it better.

13. His inability to do what's needed to fight terror. Bush won't allow the
needed scrutiny of the Saudis who promote terrorism because the Bush family and most of their cronies have their finances tangled up in the same financial institutions and networks. They will not risk exposing themselves or their international allies in the moneymaking business of arms and wars.

21. The Aug. 5, 2001 PDB: Bin Laden determined to strike in US
I work for print media so I cannot distribute these myself.

We the people can create an issue that brings the media to us using viral and guerilla marketing techniques. Guerilla marketing means we disseminate our message using non-traditional delivery systems. Viral marketing means that the message creates buzz and it propagates exponentially. The computer ushered in the age of print and web based media accessibility to the masses. We are paying a lot of attention to online media and ignoring the most far reaching: PRINT MEDIA.
An example of an effective print piece highlighting Bush's failure and most importantly MOCKING him in the process:

high resolution version for printing here:
http://somnamblst.tripod.com /

Most people have not read the 8/6/2001 PDB. This is a postcard size version that can be distributed in a variety of ways, to a variety of audiences.

Put them on car windshields. Hand them out on street corners. Drop them on driveways in the suburbs where the frightened inhabitants are sure to contact the authorities.

We don't need TV buys to get some attention on this issue. We have to undermine Bush's perceived strength. We all are potential disseminators of printed media. We do not need a newspapers permission or lots of money for TV commercials. We all have access to printers, photocopiers and paper. Many of us are very talented users of PhotoShop or Freehand. We all can create print ads like the one above. If we the people can create a buzz with massive distribution of printed ads we will get media coverage. The possibilities are endless regarding this type of grass roots guerilla marketing. Kerry is our product, Bush is the product we must crush.

The Bush administration's complete INCOMPETENCE is key to undermining his strength.

This is so clever and so easily doable it is diabolical.

34. I agree . . . and it ties so nicely to . . .
the whole BushCo culture of giving the farm to millionaires and corporations at the expense of the rest of us . . . polluters writing pollution laws, corporations exploiting federally-owned natural resources for private profit, etc . . . also ties in nicely to the whole energy issue and the control that big oil exerts on our government . . . as an issue, the environment is not JUST about clean air and clean water . . . it's a way to snag the suckers on any number of associated issues as well . . .

30. YES, I imagine even freepers would think
twice about voting for Bush, if they knew that would mean their children would be sent to war. But then again, maybe they would think no sacrifice is too great for their favorite president?

Patriot Act

Chaney's "Kerry causes Terrorism" statement

Loyalty Oaths

Censorship of the Freedom of Information Act

etc

The problem with this bunch is that when they saw the phrase "We, the people" they thought it applied only to them.

Hits close to home for everyone.
A recent college study showed bush's plan would cover 1.8 million uninsured (yeah, right) and that Kerry's would cover -get this- 28 million uninsured people.
That oughta be an ad right there!
