Any opinions on if we will get a Infomercial bump?
Any talking heads or pollsters commented on it?

but if Obama can start next week with no less than a five-point national lead, the infomercial's mission will have been accomplished.

4. My theory..
Is that we might get a bump, but not readily-recognizable.

For example, if we had not just aired that infomercial, the race might've continued its very slow tightening.

But because of that infomercial, that tightening might've just stopped. Which means that numbers just hover where they are.

Doesn't look like much of a bump, but it's an improvement over what might've been.

7. Inspiring voters?
I hope, in addition to reaching a few undecided voters, it also helps encourage those with the intention of voting -- especially those voting for the first time -- to actually go to the polls and vote. Maybe encourage a few more early voters, which would decrease the chances of interference of some kind ...

This isn't anything that would be seen in the polls, but it would actually be making the polls less accurate (in Obama's favor), increasing dem and first-time voters' likelihood of voting. Shifting the statistics underlying the polls ...
