It's time for a Kerry ad defining "Chickenhawks."

It doesn't have to be mean, just state the facts: For those of you who have heard the term and may be wondering what it means:

A chickenhawk is someone who wraps themselves in the flag and pushes for wars they refuse to fight in. Who then criticizes the people who criticize the war and labels them as unpatriotic.

These are the people who are unfit to lead a nation. Do you know anyone like this?

Then follow with a list of names like the Swiftees did in their ad.

Cheney
Ashcroft
Limbaugh
Hannity
and all the others who have accurately been identified. (You wouldn't include any of the people, including Clinton, who opposed the war they didn't fight in. They may be something else but they are not "chickenhawks")

but also state that they are quick to send others to die, whereas they won't put themselves on the line---maybe BECAUSE they never experienced war. Note their behavior during the Vietnam war (Cheney 5 deferments for "other priorities", Bush a cushy National Guard position that he blew off, Rush an anal cyst, etc.)

3. Bill Clinton isn't running and he didn't serve in VN. Believe me, it is

important for those gun-ho, John Wayners to really know the truth about who served and who didn't They won't admit it, but it will make a difference in what they are able to say.
