Bush Budget Projections for 2004

These are what the respective Bush budgets predicted for 2004

2001 Budget - $262 billion surplus
2002 Budget - $17 billion deficit
2003 Budget - $303 billion deficit
Reality - $440 billion deficit

Source: The Great Unraveling (Paul Krugman).

Seems like estimating isn't a very strong suit of this presidential administration, either.
