"There are no free passes in this struggle".
"No free passes":
What a heartless, crude and incorrect statement!
There were lots of free passes and he and Chaney were among the ones that received them.
His statement clearly shows his uncaring attitude toward our armed services personnel. They are expendable resources who, when killed, are simply entered in the losses column of his "Empire Corporation" profit and loss sheet. No problem, just draft 1,000 more, pay them slightly above minimum wages and send em in. And "hey, we killed about 30,000 Iraqis with only a loss of 1,000 of our resources."
Supposedly, we sent our people there to stop Iraq from manufacturing and using WMD and to assure the the Iraqi people would be able to live in a Democratic society. Well, it's 1,000+ American deaths, 30,000+ Iraqi deaths, many more thousands wounded, and $200,000,000 already spent which is half of the record breaking 422,000,000 national deficit with no end in sight to the dying, killing and spending. This has got to stop and soon!
