How does early voting look for us?
I keep hearing it both ways. Perhaps some of you number-crunchers and analysts can paint a better picture for me...

1. I think it depends on the state
Some are crazy, like Tennessee. Others are behind, like Oregon.

7. We're behind, it's not just me

I wish people would quit poo-pooing the turnout issues. The youth aren't showing up and some states are just flat behind in turnout. We've got to get the message out.

2. The most important variable to assess in early voting will be....
Edited on Fri Oct-31-08 06:21 AM by styersc
....who gets the most votes. In order to assess early voting you should just plug the numbers into the following formula:

(EV * pC) + (EDV * pC)= result

EV= Early voting
pC= Participation for your candidate
EDV= Election Day voting

The solid numbers for these variable will be available late on Tuesday evening.

I hope this explanation was not too technical and of value to you.

5. The only BG state where I keep hearing about light early voting is Ohio.
And I don't if it's true.

8. Oklahoma has
200,000 more registered Democrats this year, went to the County Election Board this morning with my husband and the line was going around the building traffic was backed up for miles. It was amazing to see so many people motivated to vote, it was so surreal you see these kind of lines in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio etc... but Oklahoma!

Oklahoma might go BLUE!
