The new Zogby data show he also needs to defend WI and PA. The main battles: FL and MO.

2. Ohio is NOT "strong Bush" - it's neck and neck

3. So how do you detect "soft" support amongst all this?
Quality and quantity of support need to be considered as well.

4. Don't be a crybaby!
The polls in Ohio have looked just as bad for Bush in the recent past, and they will look better for Kerry in the comming weeks, and then they'll look better for Bush, then back to Kerry. If you can't keep your panties out of your ass crack, take 'em off.

6. Been To Wisconsin...Things Aren't So Bad
This Illinois DU'er spent last weekend...gleefully, in the closest battleground state and was expecting the worst. I had seen the latest polls showing a near even race. That's not what I saw and heard being there.

I was in what some would call the heart of Repugnican Wisconsin...northwest of Milwaukee...and the support for Bunnypants was almost invisible. Few yard signs in West Bend and Menomonee Falls and lots of Kerry bumper stickers all over I-90 & 94.

What I was more concerned about is the Senate race. Lots of Russ Darrow signs, but then Senator Feingold will be just fine.

Listening to radio the last couple days I'm heard a statewide poll (we have it on another DU thread...someone even linked the audio...give it a listen) that Kerry won overwhelmingly.

I feel good in talking to friends in Pennsylvania, too. The latest polls still show Kerry ahead and I suspect once this latest Bunnypants spike plays out (by week's end), Kerry will be ahead on the MOE in this state as well as Wisconsin & Iowa.

Ohio is a major deal as are West Virginia, Missouri, Arizona, Colorado, Tennesee & Arkansas. If we can take the race to those states, we are looking golden!
