So please... can we stop with the "polls are tightening" bullshit?



Moved Obama's direction:

Rasmussen.... was +3 two days ago, +4 now

Zogby.... was +5 two days ago, +7 now

GWU.... was +3 two days ago, +4 now

Gallup LV1.... was +2 two days ago, +5 now

ABC/WP.... was +7 two days ago, +8 now

IBD/TIPP.... was +3 two days ago, +4 now


Stayed the same:

Gallup LV2.... was +7 two days ago, still +7


The ones moving the wrong direction:

Hotline.... was +7 two days ago, +6 now

2. The two biggest culprits to the RCP Avg...
1. The bogus Fix News poll with 39% Republicans in the sample.

2. The dropping off of Pew's poll. The Pew poll should not be immediately dismissed as they nailed the 2004 election. They had 51-48 Bush.

5. Yup, they changed the sampling and even Rassmussen does not have a 3% difference between Dems and
Rethugs. They have it as plus 6% for Dems.
