Kerry on now live....excellent!
This man will be our next President.

He is hitting back hard, and he's lucid, intelligent, presidential, and clear.

His message WILL be heard.

He is kicking ass right now.

Go, John Kerry!!!!

8. The Right/Wrong...The RIGHT Message
Let the media harp on this meme...the more they do, the more the message burns in.

Kerry's hitting a lot of homers right now. This is an extremely receptive audience as well.

Also: note, if he's using a teleprompter he sure doesn't look it. This sounds like this is right from inside...not from a speechwriter. He's driving his own ship right now and this is great!

Good days are ahead, my friends. Hope is on the way!!!

21. Cincinnatti...CNNservative & MSNBC had it
I suspect C-SPAN should replay it later. Also, ABC World News Now...their new cable news channel will replay it sometime tonight as well.

It was loaded with lots of good soundbites. Hard hitting. The crowd was right with him.

Get him in some real large rallies with this message and watch some true campaign magic start to happen.

quoting Carter's attack on Zell and Edwards' attack on Cheney's fear-mongering remarks, calling them un-American. JK looks great, sounds great, he's smiling. Great speech.

30. Question about Kerry strategy.....
Why is it that Kerry no longer says that we had inspectors on the ground in Iraq and therefore there was no reason to rush to war....I keep hearing him talking about a coalition and that Bush should have gotten one before invading....that is not the issue...the issue is and was that we did not have to rush to war because the inespectors were doing a freat job!

I am getting sick of Kerry backing off this line of attack....

By the way, he HAS talked about the inspections. Or lack thereof, and not letting them finish.

35. he HAS talked about the inspections
he has...but not in a very long time....he has backed away from that and instead says that we rushed to war without a coalition....he should be saying why in the hel did we rush to war without a plan to win the peace when we had successfull inspection teams on the ground in Iraq? That is what he should be saying...perhaps he does not want to be perceived as against the war? Who knows anymore....

39. perhaps.....
I wish to god that this election was about Bush and Cheney's lies leading up to the war in Iraq.....now it has become a back burner issue and the only issue is that we rushed to war without a coalition....my point is that even if we had a coalition there was no reason for war because it is all basedn on lies.....I would give up my right arm if Kerry would say that....Bush is getting away with his lies once again...no dem and of course the media wil hold him accountable for the lies leading up to thr war in Iraq!

43. Right...well if we really wanted to go that
route we'd just pound away at Saddam having nothing to do with 9/11, and the fact that even if he HAD WMD he still wouldn't have been a threat because we knew where he lived- BIG kaboom. The only problem with that is Kerry's IWR vote.

I dunno...the inspectors thing...I understand what you're saying, but if Saddam really had the WMD, and if that would actually make him a threat, the inspectors really weren't helping much.

44. AS KERRY HAS SAID MANY TIMES....
he voted for the IWR to put pressure on Saddam to aloow inspectors in there....the inspections were working and most intelligence agencies believed they were as well....plus, Saddam was only a threat if he had a nuclear weapons and nobody in the world believed he had one....not even the CIA, DOE, INR, AIAEA, etc...the fact that Saddam may have had biological and/or chemical weapons did not make him a threat to the United States...no way...plus the NIE which Cheney hyped said that even if Saddam has WMD he had no plans in us9injg it against the USA or giving it to a terrorist group unless he was provoked by the USA...EVERY INTELLIGENCE AGANECY IN THE WORLD SAID THAT HE WAS NO THREAT, INCLUDING the CIA!

45. He just said it
He said he would have let the inspections continue in this speech. And building a coalition is part of creating the strong pressure for Saddam to fully and permanently comply so we wouldn't have to disarm militarily, if it had been necessary. It all goes together.
