1. I heard the soldier who was in his unit
who said this morning: "I never saw him there!" Excellent!

2. NPR also used the "N" word this morning.
Edited on Wed Sep-08-04 08:52 AM by wurzel
They described the "Swiftboat attacks" as "Negative".

5. The rest of the media...
Wants to get a piece of this action. Josh Marshall has hinted at the fact that the story will be a lot more than just Ben Barnes. In fact, it promises to be incendiary.

Remember also that while NPR has been tacking to the right, they would not be the recipients of a the same benefits as other media outlets, should the second round of media deregulation go forward.

Trust me when I tell you that MediaDeregII is THE carrot and stick that keeps the major media outlets going in the direction that they are. Exactly as planned by the repukes.

8. I think reporters are afraid of being fired and having their careers ended
MediaDeregII is a big factor, too.

6. They NYT and Boston Globe
also have articles on his lack of service---Kristoff in the NYT. He brought it on himself. Damn, it feels good to say that! The Barnes interview will be on CBS (60 Minutes) tonight as well.
