McCain set the record straight after being misquoted by conservatives
full title is "McCain set the record straight after being misquoted by conservatives smearing Kerry" but could not fit all on subject line

<Despite conservative claims to the contrary, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) was not quoted in an article in the May 14, 1973, issue of U.S. News & World Report as saying that Senator John Kerry's 1971 testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was "the most effective propaganda had to use against us." On the September 5 edition of ABC's This Week, McCain set the record straight by stating that he is not quoted as mentioning Kerry in the article and he did not "recall ever hearing John Kerry's name while ... in prison ." McCain went on to say that he didn't want his 1973 statement to be used by the Bush-Cheney '04 campaign against Kerry.>

1. There is just no way anyone with a conscience can support these Repukes.
And McCain is burdened with a conscience.

2. One of these days McCain is gonna snap
And, boy, will it be ulgy.

I often wonder if he sees any parrels with his internment in Viet Nam and his internment with the modern GOP. They do seem hell bent to use McCain for all he's worth then toss his empty carcass in the rubbish heap.

His lifetime ADA rating is 9 whereas Kerry's is 92.

Goldwater's lifetime was a 5.

8. McCain quietly almost imperceptibly moves away from W*rong's table
McCain should know that it does not count politically unless you do it loudly and proudly.

MAKE IT A MORE PUBLIC CORRECTION OF THE RECORD, PAL--IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO SAVE FACE
