"Bush reveals his courage by skipping debate"
who wants to bet that some rightwing columnist explores this idea: only someone who is truly secure would risk looking like a coward by skipping one of the debates.

The only question, which columnist is first with this. I submit Kathleen Parker, but we'll see...

1. here's another one I really did hear this morning
from some yokel in a uniform in Iraq: "Gosh if Kerry gets elected there's no telling how long we'll all be here. We might not see our families for years."

5. I heard that on Nightline last night
an embedded episode, which it seems like Nightline has decided how to cover the war. Soldiers and families said Bush good for troops. :puke:

7. more like the wizard himself
A huge, frightening visage, projecting strength... but then: "Pay no attention to that small man behind the curtain."

10. Coward
I do not blame Bush/Rove from not wanting to debate. The second debate would not be scripted and Bush would have a harder time having to answer unexpected questions.
