For what it's worth, David Brooks just predicted a landslide win for Obama
He thinks Obama will win the popular vote convincingly and the electoral college overwhelmingly.

2. I MUST watch "NewsHour" tonight ...
I was planning to anyway, but that'll be nice to
hear! Hopefully Shields isn't following Rachel
Maddow's lead and playing "Debbie Downer" ...

10. Brooks is weaselly, but he does manage to live in a reality-based
world most of the time. Now assholes like Krauthammer, Kristol, the execrable Clifford May....well they make Brooks look humane and tolerant.

12. I don't have teevee, just the NYTimes...
so he is the conduit through which the opinions of the other side flow to me.... and until recently, he never failed to piss me off.

18. I actually don't mind him so much, it's good to read fair-minded conservatives occasionally...
I don't agree with 80% of what he says, but it would be interesting to sit and have a beer with the guy. He's not so bad.

15. Oh boy! A new warmonger hops on the bandwagon at the 11th hour & wants to drive it.
You support is welcome, but you need to ride in the back, Brooks.
