20. Right, rabid, foaming at the mouth
and being bested by two burly BLACK guys. Dunno how this is going to play out there in Middle America. I know how it's playing in freeperland, but don't much care.

It looks like this guy is a real jackass, completely out of control. Now if they'll get an ID and start following the money, maybe they can drop the bomb that the Bush gang is paying thes yahoos.

3. Kerry's response to him was dead on . . .
Endorsed heckler's right to free speech, said that's what made America great, then turned it right back around on Bush, saying it was a regular tactic of their to try to stifle discussion.

nice.

8. Kerry cleverly responded
that everyone was entitled to freedom of speech, but George doesn't allow it at HIS rallies, and it that it was just another tactic to prevent the telling of the truth--"but we're going to talk truth anyway!"

17. That is dead on
Outstanding. Pointing out that he probably couldn't have gotten in to a W event if the tables were turned.

Kerry should add (to the hecklers at his front porch meetings-who get to stay) "If you think that President Bush even cares what you have to say you are dreaming pal"

I just love the way he deals with hecklers. Bush could NEVER manage that - he can barely manage to get through a pre-written speech with a sound feed!

as long as he did not cause disturbance. one of the good things about the idiots that heckle Kerry is how stupid they look making fools of themselves.

but this was a different type of forum than the rallies and other events he holds. this was more of a private event. so i can understand why he was taken out here.

15. I can't imagine they would have kicked him out...
...if he weren't causing a disturbance. Did you see how enraged he looked? I'd have checked him for PCP, myself (or maybe even firearms).

I doubt they simply tossed him for yelling.

18. yeah, that's a good point, it seemed he was causing noise
and yelling. at rallies it's more acceptable. but this was a different event. i had no problem with the protestor being removed from the republican convention during bush's speech either.

although it says a lot about how bush and kerry handled it. kerry was in control and used the moment to bring up freedoms and took a shot at bush. bush looked scared and didn't know what to do. he was caught by surprise at the thought of someone not supporting what he was saying.

well. People think it is only fair to let Kerry make his stump speech. The Bush minions don't let hecklers stay, why should Kerry's supporters be denied the chance to hear him speak? At least he is not going to get locked up in Pier 57!

25. Knowing there are tens of thousands of these dangerously
deluded wackos (DDW's) out there, I sure hope Kerry's Secret Service contingent is on the ball. Some of these people are extremely dangerous, and I expect as the poll numbers start going Kerry's way in a major way, they are going to lose it.

This nasty hatred is a direct legacy of Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage (Weiner), North, et al. If their actions cause any harm to come to our candidate, I would think they would need some protection themselves. Violent fascism must simply not be tolerated, and those responsible for stoking it, are as guilty as those committing the crimes.

Having lived through the assassinations of the Kennedy brothers, and Martin Luther King, many of us have already seen radicals, and the right-wing, at work. We don't need to see it again.

Take care John.

26. I hope he explained why Bush is afraid to tell us the truth
Why is he afraid to come clean with the American people? I thought he was supposed to be on our side! What on earth can he be hiding behind all that secrecy? I just can't trust him.

Thank God Kerry's got tons of experience going after government law breaking. And Edwards is a top lawyer as well. I think I can trust that they'll get to the bottom of it for us after they're elected.

It will feel good to get back to being America again after November 2!

31. As a plant, what kind of response are they looking for?
Are they looking to incite a riot? Do they want to be man-handled? Are they just looking to disrupt the speech?

I'm not sure. I'm sure there's an effort for some press coverage, which is of course the reason shrub won't let any possible dissenters into his speeches.

Just in these random shots, there are white and black faces, male and female faces. In shots of Bush's shindigs, they're all white males.
