5. Ohio has as many fundies per capita as Southern states.
Southern Ohio is somewhat backward.

7. That's a pretty wide swing
Obviously the methodology of the poll is flawed.

15. Maybe because there are so many newly registered voters
in OH? I heard they are having a hard time keeping up with all the new registrations that are flowing in.

What voting machines do they use in that place, anyway?

6. ohio would be nice BUT...
...it's not an absolute must have state. Though we'll need to carry Florida, gaining states like Virginia and/or New Hampshire would make up for Ohio.

10. Southern Ohio caught shrub disease from Kentucky!
Must be a northern wind blowing that stuff up into Ohio. Maybe it will switch in a few weeks.

12. We can't give up in Ohio!
We can carry it, Pennsylvania and WV via a regional campaign.

16. Zogby has the following for Ohio
9/7/04
bush 54
Kerry 43
other 3

8/23/04
bush 51
Kerry 46
other 3

We have still have time. It will be tough, and the swift puke hurt us, but within the next several weeks throughout september there will be more negative information coming out on bush

If the poll is the same as this in a month we can probably forget about Ohio

Keep in mind there are other states which can turn things our way

I wouldn't be too concerned until more time has passed

19. Didn't I hear that
in Ohio and some other places all this massive new voter registration is by no means all Dem. Apparently, the fundies are having the church people go out and sign people up by the buckets full. So, I don't know exactly what would be the distribution of those "new voters" when the time comes.
