TVLand Obama Ad

Okay, now this is cool. I watch *way* too much TVLand. It's one of few stations I actually do watch with any regularity. I have not seen a political ad during any of their programming ... until tonight.

This evening the station is running an eight hour marathon of shows of the winner of their First Family contest, which was a viewer chosen contest between The Andy Griffith Show, Sanford and Son, and The Beverly Hillbillies. As though it were a surprise to any fan of old television shows, Andy Griffith won.

A week or so ago THIS THREAD pointed to a Funny or Die clip made by Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, and Andy Griffith supporting Barack Obama.

The first episode TVLand ran was the one in which Aunt Bee ran for city council against Howard Sprague.

And at the end of the show, they ran Ron Howard's Call To Action clip, supported by Barack Obama of course.

Fonzy once supported Bush. He was so wrr ... wrrrrrro ... wrrroooooooo :rofl:
