Another day, another photo-op
Good old George -- he's never seen a disaster he's not willing to exploit (just so long as it's not his own). Quite a man of the people if I may say so myself.

At what point does the backlash begin??

4. Doesn't the pResident of the Free World have something better
to do than hand out water to folks who admittedly are in need?

I thought the CEO of a company left the ground work to the worker bees and he handled the MANAGEMENT end?

If he is gonna do micro-work then;

Seems there is that war of choice he needs to fight - that would make a helluva photo-op - he could go to Iraq and squeeze off a few rounds.

Or healthcare - perhaps he should make a run to Canada for some cheap drugs for an old lady or two.

Maybe he could bop on over the Treasury to print off some money to help out the economy.

Perhaps he could go to a Middle School and teach some Science to some inner-city youth to help the education problem.

Yeah, right, like we coudl trust him to do any of those jobs

7. his micro work is being done just for the photo ops - I'm so upset
about the increasing state of chaos and panic Floridians are suffering through. It seems like anything bush touches or turns his personal attention to fails.

I'm praying FEMA is still effective and hasn't been populated with ineffectual, impotent, idiot bush appointees who know squat about their jobs and responsibilities.

2. I wonder how many loyalty oaths people had to sign for their water?
Jackass... I'm sitting right here in the crosshairs of Charley and Frances, battening down for Ivan, and I STILL wouldn't take a bottle of water from the hands of those two. Sorry guys, but you can't buy my vote with some H2O... I'm not surprised they'd try a stunt like this though. Think of how this will diffuse the "Bush is afraid to reach out to the people" criticism? Honestly, not many would have the nerve to lash out at him when their homes are destroyed. Chickenshits!
