Nasty National Republican Trust Rev. Wright ad playing in KY

I don't really understand why they are running it here.... But I've seen it four or five times in the last 2 hours alone!!!!! Shouldn't KY be a "safe" state for McCain? Or does this have more to do with McConnell/Lunsford? Are they trying to tamp down the Democratic vote in general because that race has gotten too close for comfort?
