This is the first time I've admitted this.

So here it is. (Deep Breath)

Kucinich is closest to my own politics, but unfortunately I knew that he couldn't win in an America that is so inherently unprogressive.

Instead, I would throw my support behind the person that had the best chance to win it all. Early on, I felt that that person woulld be Dean, but of course it turned out to be Kerry.

Edwards, by the way, has always been my choice for VP. I was very happy when he got the nod.

So folks, does this make me a bad person to be more ABB than an actual backer of my candidate of choice?

Tell me, I need to know.

1. I understand. I was a Dennis gal myself, but I also know
how our current system works so I knew he wouldn't get far.

If you want to see a Dennis in the White House, help fight for major election reform.

2. We can't change a thing if we can't win.
So Kerry is the way to go. Besdies, he would be one of the most liberal presidents we have had in YEARS.

you don't pick your skipper on what he believes. You pick your skipper on who can get the boat back to shore.

4. There's a lot of us who walked pretty much that same path.
The only difference between us is maybe that I got quite a bit happier about Kerry by the end of the DNC. My wife is still holding her nose, even though she is out canvassing & has sent quite a bit of $$. quite a bit for us at least.

5. Are you a bad person? Not in my book...
I personally think the consequence of one's actions is more important than the motive. :)

Was a Clark/Dean Gal Myself
Never too "up" on Kerry or "down" with Edwards... but I drive all over town with my Kerry/Edwards stickers and I'm backing them all the way.

6. IMHO
So folks, does this make me a bad person

It makes you a realist. You also pour a mean drink.

7. Very close
to my own path...
although I was Dean first, then Kucinich, then Kerry.

I am happy with John Edwards also, maybe it will put my state in play (not looking good from polls I saw earlier, though).

I'm looking forward to a chimp-free future! :-)

9. Not bad at all, in fact barring Lieberman, I hope all the other
candidates to become part of our new administration. I hope Kerry will bring them all on board in an effort to aid him in right the hundreds of wrongs this administration has heaped upon us...

Mine too was Kun, with Edwards, but they after Deans speech I went to his side feeling this showed he was honestly passionate about wanting change...

And I just love the way they are all coming together in order to outseat these monsters who have taken over our consitutional rights with such a heavy hand...

11. It's like a poor golf shot that ends up in the hole.
I once hit a golf ball that bounced off a tree and went in the hole for a birdy. It didn't show on the score card how the shot was hit.

Who cares why you vote for Kerry as long as you vote for Kerry? It won't show on any score card.

12. I could have written that post
I am closer to Dennis than any of them. In fact, DK is a tad too conservative for me, LOL!

I backed Dean in the primaries. He appealed to me in a HUGE way.

But I am now seriously, devotedly for Kerry, despite the fact that he is wayyyyy too moderate for me. I don't care, I want a Dem in the White House and I want the evil bush co. OUT.
