3. No doubt... even if he runs the tossups, he loses
..and I doubt he'll run the tossups.

10. RCP doesn't include party-affiliated polls anymore...
and PPP is a Democratic poll.

5. The volitility of some of the late braking polls have skewed the
average so they are playing it safe...

Ohio and VA will go for Obama...

7. RCP's method was challenged by another pollster on CSpan
because he folds in outlier polls. The other pollster said the method is like weighing yourself on 4 scales. 3 of them say you weigh 175 and 1 says you way 370. If you average them out do you assume that is close? Or do you throw out the incorrect poll?

RCP uses stupid data such as the 1 day stuff from Zogby.

8. Yeah, was like that hours ago - add in tossups and it looks like EV.com @ 353
So, it's fine.

9. Kind of misleading. According to the website, Obama has 278 EVEN IF HE LOSES EVERY TOSS UP STATE

11. It shows that gramps is done. We knew that. No one is saying anything otherwise.
Well, even this morning, the pundits on Faux said it was over. heard it myself.

12. Relax . . .
269 or better is all we need. He's got 278 LOCKED UP. The rest just strengthens his "mandate." We're talking LANDSLIDE. No way McLoser takes more than a couple of the toss-up states.

13. I keep trying to remind myself we'd have killed for a number like that with Kerry
It's the trend I dislike

16. The trend has bottomed.
It's all bonuses from here. Get ready to cheer yourself hoarse Tuesday night as state after state turns darks blue.

14. That's alright I put it back

so McCain has to win every single tossup state and he still loses.
