11. Tweety is an asshole.
I didn't even get to the Graham interview. I was absolutely amazed how Matthews and his guest morphed Chaney's gaff from yesterday into a completely different statement. This ain't journalism folks and I'm heartily offended that this shit bag should be allowed to parade as one. Feel free to send him a email to chew on. I'm writing one to that shit bird next.

13. So Moore was EXACTLY right about SA. Remember how the wingers responded
to that part of the film? They were so dismissive. Remember Hitchens's article?

Sounds like that was all wishful thinking, or anticipatory spinning.

Some EP got in Tweety's IFB and shut that right down.

A call was made.

21. There is no way a sitting senator
like Bob Graham would be lying about this is there? I seriously doubt he'd be able to get away with it. Why won't they let him tell the truth. I hope he is determined to get it out there. Senator Graham is very moderate and is considered credible in my opinion. So, they can't just ignore what he is saying and smear him to death. We need to make this book #1. What is the name of the book and is it in bookstores now?

32. Keep in mind that Graham keeps extensive notes about every
aspect of his daily life. If the word "credibility" means anything Bob Graham has it. This is a story that won't go away.

22. WHY was Tweety looking off camera????
As soon as we started watching it, like 30 seconds in, we both said 'Matthews is scared'. Granted, Graham isnt exactly the most powerful speaker in the world, and seemed to be having trouble finding the words to get his message across, but Tweety kept looking off camera and all but twitched and squirmed in his seat. I mean, crikey mate, Ive seen him give more time to debates over absolute meaningless bullshit idiocy. That was the SHORTEST interview I think I have ever seen him conduct. Makes one wonder if he would have cut off some big mouth repug clown who was talking over him, lisitng the facts point by point. I think not.

23. Didn't something similar happen during the CA recall?
It seems to me, that a dem (possibly a woman) was making too much sense and Matthews got very nasty and told her to shut up. He then sort of apologized by saying "My producer told me to shut you up" or some such.

Anyone else remember this?

24. matthews = shithead
I don't get it when he has his "1%" moments questioning a repug, everyone loves him and sings his praises. He is not on our side, never will be. He is the worst host ever, talking over everyone in an extremely rude way. Bob Graham is vastly more intelligent than tweety, and everyone knows the WH runs cover for SA. Fuck hardball - stop giving him his 0.1 rating.

29. First of all,
I don't think Tweety was in control as I don't think many anchors and reporters are anymore. Second, these revelations would definitely end the campaign for the administration if it were to get any traction at all. Democracy in America right now is dead and I thought so the minute we invaded Iraq on false pretenses. The only way to return to a democracy intended by the founding fathers is to somehow beat the odds and win this thing. I don't know how in this controlled society except by word of mouth by us.
