The book will be ignored where not debunked. It will also make Legit books look like they are of the same type of trash as her trash. They will all get dismissed.

2. We knew that but we'll buy the book anyways....

only because it'll bump the SwiftAss Idiots book off the top of the bestseller's list. Plus the feeble-minded folks who bought the SwiftLoser's book out of curiosity will probably take a peek at the juicy gossip found in Kitty Kelley's book.

I plan on picking up a copy of it on September 15th and then promptly tossing it in a box of books I have in my closet of stuff I haven't read in years.

As another poster made clear . . . Sharon Bush's non-denial denial means very little (she could have passed on the 'dirt' to someone who then passed it on to Kitty Kelley. You have to remember that the Bushes (and even the ex-Bushes) are very good at lying/deceiving/misleading, etc.!

when the Republicans can take things that people like the Swift Boat Veterans and that Gary Aldrich guy say at face value, but scoff at this book. They honestly believe the books that said the Clintons decorated the White House Christmas trees with crack pipes and used condoms, and that Bill Clinton had sex with prostitutes in the bushes, that Web Hubbell is Chelsea Clinton's real dad, and that Hillary had affairs with Web Hubbell, Vince Foster AND Madeleine Albright. But somehow this book is questionable? I also find their indignation quite funny.

But you do know that there's multiple sources for the book? I've actually only seen quotes from people other than Sharon Bush. The quotes I've seen were from classmates or childhood friends.


Sharon Bush has her own "tell all" book coming out soon, so she might have reasons of her own to disown past comments. But like I said, I'm not saying any of it is true. You might want to read it before you actually form an opinion on it. I have no opinion on it, as I plan on reading it and then checking out the sources.

Truth means zero. If it bleeds it leads. Anything with drugs, sex, power, race and fame will sell and sell big. Truth be damned, good dish is what it's all about. Gossip runs miles before the truth gets up.

Shall we revisit Monicagate...all the charges against Clinton...from cokerunning to how many different women to killing Ron Brown and the list was endless. How much was true? How much passed as "fact" despite being debunked? The same for the Slimeboaters. It's one of the right wing's favorite tricks and now it's being used on them.

Let these junkyard dogs fight among themselves as to if this book is true or not and whose a source and who isn't. This is what will fuel this story...and the media will play and be played.

Kelley and her people are savvy. They know what they're putting out there and who they're going up against, and they're betting the power of the pen will reap lots of gold for them at the Bush's expense...but isn't this how this evil family got to where they're at?

Sit back, enjoy the show. The synergy should be interesting. If the media attempts to spike the story or discredit it, people are gonna be curious to see what the book is about and then drive it up the best-sellers lists which will compell the networks to cover it even more. Honestly, I don't care if it's true or not...it won't affect my attitude toward this evil family, but it sure could cause them lots of embarassment and headaches at a very inappropriate time...and that, I sense is a very, very good thing!

I think you're wrong about Kelley.

And it doesn't hurt Kerry at all. She'a a gossip writer, not a political operative, and he didn't sic her on the Bushes. The fact that she doesn't have a political axe to grind gives her a little MORE credibility in this case than say, Michael Moore, who we know will present the facts in the way most favorable to his cause.
