The Economist poll: Kerry only behind by 1%
In my opinion this is the best poll around: Large sample (2,702), objective source.

http://www.economist.com/media/pdf/YouGovJ.pdf

All sampled: 46% bush, 45% Kerry (registered voters: same)
"Will definitely vote": 47% bush, 46% Kerry

The article has 20 pages of detailed results. Here's a key one:

18-24 year-olds: 53% Kerry, 40% bush. Get the young vote the fuck out!

4. Thanks for posting the Great News.... and I agree...
It is VERY important to get the youth of our nation to vote. When in a conversation with a 18 to 25 year old... bring it up... I come right out and ask them if they are registered to vote. If not, I continue with the conversation .. generally bring up the draft and the loss of jobs.

Once the debates are over... Kerry will get his bounce and will win by a comfortable margin. :-)

Anyway... Thanks for starting my day on the right track!!

5. too bad that this age group is the one which historically doesn't
turn out strongly on election day, so what can we do to motivate them? tell them there is a good posibility of the draft coming back if W is elected?
