Carville very good on morning news today
he made Tucker Eskew look like he was about to cry.

He finished off with a rant about Bush being afraid to debate, linked it to Bush running around the country on 9/11, and to Bush resisting appearing before the 9/11 commission, and then only with Cheney.

He said, the president should get off Dick Cheney's lap. :-)

1. He kicked Tucker's ass - then laughed at him
Told Katie to give Tucker a break - he was having a bad day.

And all Tucker could do was stick to some tired talking points and grin like the pretty boy empty suit he is.

He got Tucker back on his heels early and Tuck never recovered.

3. A pattern of cowardice -- oddly not recognized by TV media types
or AM talk radio hosts.

4. debates
Bush is going to come off quite weak if he insists on only two debates. Didn't Bush vs. Gore have four?

6. welcome to DU, Tarc ... Carville was sooo good about focusing on debates
Carville pointed out that * used strings to get in and out of stuff, but now if this is the election of a lifetime, * NEEDS to come out and debate all 3 times (saying and implying: what's * afraid of???)

8. And Katie wasn't bad either...
She jumped all over Tucker re SwiftBoatLiarsforBush when he tried to complain about the dirty tricks the Dems were engaging in. VERY fair for her...

9. Did anyone notice that they didn't run the Texans for Truth ad?
When the Swifties were being "discussed" a clip of their ad was always shown-planting those lies over and over-but Katie only mention what Bob Mintz says in the Texans ad.

10. I think they were running out of time by then...
For Today, that was a pretty long segment and Katie really let the boys talk. I was happy she even brought it up... Maybe my expectations are just set lower?

12. That is true but......
Every single report I saw about the Swift Boaters within the first 15 seconds the following words were said --"Let's take a look" Cut to "John Kerry did not deserve his first Purple Heart I know because I treated him"...you know the rest.

The media ALWAYS let at least 10 seconds of the message get out. Why can't we just hear Bob Mintz say "I never saw him" over and over and over.

13. LOL! Classic Carville!
"He said, the president should get off Dick Cheney's lap."

Is he working with Kerry campaign in an official capacity now? (Ohpleaseohpleaseohplease.) They could really use him.

15. Yes
Right underneath of his name it said

"Kerry Campaign adviser" and Katie pointed that out which Carville gladly certified.

14. maybe she's annoyed -
- as she should be - about the White House trying to censor Kitty Kelley on NBC. Are those her segments they're trying to quash next week? Maybe she was giving them the finger.
