Here is why bush and co keep pushing fear:
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5950653/
Poll: Fear of terror attack persists
Those most concerned are more likely to vote for Bush
<snip>
Those who were worried about another terrorist attack, including women with those concerns, were more likely to support the president. Those who were less worried were more likely to support Democrat John Kerry.

1. *Sigh* Jeekers, people are stupid. Whose administration was it that
was on duty when 9/11 happened? Whose administration was warned repeatedly about the possibility of attacks? Whose administration didn't even have counterterrorism on its list of priorities?
BUSH is least likely to protect us, with his record of war-mongering, ties to the Saudis and his need to pander to the "Christian Right" and their views on Israel.
Holy shit.

2. And Kerry ought to bring that up too.
Kerry ought to criticize Bush on 9/11. Kerry should ask, "Where is Osama?"

3. Bush don't know and don't care, folks...by his own admission, despite
his tough-guy "dead or alive" talk right after 9/11.
What a fuckin' wiener.
I just hope the rumor that they've got him on ice, waiting to trot him out in October, is false.
Too many mutant sheep in the voter pool to trust with that. Other than Bush's credibility and lack of leadership, I think it's kind of a non-issue. He's not the only one out there. The gap would be filled by someone else.
