I don't understand why Kerry hasn't gotten any good photo ops out of the 2 hurricanes that hit FL? Does he need Jeb's permission or something? There's a 3rd nasty one headed there. Is there a reason Kerry isn't doing this when Ohio is looking like it is?

1. Maybe he's just a better man than AWOL is and doesn't want to
look like he's capitalizing on their misery.

6. Exactly,
Kerry realizes, these people don't need to have the candidates running down there eating up valuable resources for security and support that are needed desperately by the victims.
bush on the other hand thinks he should use those recourses, those people like the Iraqi's welcome him with open arms.
What a waste!

4. Thank You
The misery caused by these 'canes is not fodder for photo ops. Leave it to BushCo to exploit catastrophes such as this for their own personal gain. Passing out bags of ice... yeah, that's what the good people of Florida need from their Prez right now. Shame on Bush!

3. I seem to recall that, in Charley's wake
it was reported (on NPR?) that Kerry decided not to go to FL because the security detail needed for his visit would take away from badly-needed resources in the area.

Good decision, imo.

5. John Kerry has better morals than that, IMO.
Pain and suffering should not be used for political phot opps.

7. Kerry Has Written Off Florida
as evidenced by the latest round of advertising purchases. Florida is off the list.

It would have been difficult enough as it is, but with * able to ride the disaster relief train
down there, and the expected level of vote fraud by the BFEE, it isn't all that surprising.
