4. If you look under Trump's picture,
there are arrows pointing left and right, surrounding the fraction 1/10. Click on the right arrow until you see Carville's face, and then click launch. I had some problems finding it, too.

31. So now I know who tucker askew is! Barf!
I found myself screaming at my computer to "shut the fuck up"!!

Thanks for the directions, BB.

Carville was kind of cool the way he could keep that big shit eating grin on his face when he was talking to ta.

"If you like the direction of this Country then vote bush"

"If you think we need a change vote Kerry"!

Simple really!

That's what Kerry needs to do: everything has to come down to "If you think the war in Iraq is going well, vote for Bush. If you think your income is growing, vote Bush. If you think your healthcare costs are going down, or becoming more manageable, vote Bush. Otherwise it's time to change direction and vote Kerry."

I learned something watching this video: you can be constructively obnoxious. Notice the Tucker guy kept blabbing the Republican talking points. Most Democrats I've seen would get in a debate about the validity of the talking points; Carville ignored them and kept pounding out his message, effectively taking over the whole show. We need more Democratic surrogates armed with a simple message and the passion to get out there and keep pounding it in the faces of people.

These Republicans are lying wimps when you come down to it, pussyfooting around in public with talk of "positive message" and "compassionate conservatism," (which is nothing more than 41's "Kinder, gentler nation" re-worded) and the like, while predicting massive terror strikes if Kerry is elected, and hiring dishonest creeps like the Swift Boat smearers to do the work they themselves lack the guts to do in public. So ignore them. Talk over them. Don't honor the fiction that they deserve to be debated in a straightforward fashion, because they forfeited that right when Rove decided the Swift Boat thing was perfectly acceptable.

Greatest moment: when ole Tucker got all pissed at Carville and said "I don't have a boy." He was fighting mad with nobody to fight, bless his little heart.

Media trainers will hammer this home. Don't let the opponent engage you in answering his questions. Talk to the camera. Tell your message that you have rehearsed. Have one point. Tell it over and over again to the camera. Don't be distracted or baited.

WHY OH WHY are the Dem talking heads not given media training?????

47. Bingo
"Most Democrats I've seen would get in a debate about the validity of the talking points.."

Exactly

I've seen this too many times. They just let the republicans define what we are going to discuss and then let's just argue about that and play along.

That's exactly how Bush will want the debates with Kerry to go. And that's exactly how all the news has been reported in the last 4 years.

13. the way i did it
was click on another video link and once the video is running they have a menu of other video's on the player you can pick and that's how i found the carville video.

on the left hand side they have choices such as most watched, special etc ? i can't remember which one included the carville video but it might have been the "news" choice. but you can just click on all choices until you find it.

Is Carville a Kerry Advisor or not? I thought I read elsewhere that he said he wasn't affiliated with the campaign at all, but it appears NBC says he is.

he gives advice when he wants and when asked. but since he doesn't accept pay when working for candidates he supports in america it's not required he have an official position. so this works out the best.

...in response to the "ONLY Bush 'n' Cheney can fight terra" CRAP.

Best line, though, has got to be "I don't HAVE a "boy" and you'd better knock that off right now" from Eskew after Carville said "You ought to have your boy get out of Dick Cheney's lap and come to the debates."

Carville. YEAH.

James Carville understands symbolism. He can connect the dots. Bush getting special perks to get in and arrogantly dismissing orders in the guard is symbolic of the entire Republican worldview where there are one set of rules for the rich and powerful and another for the rest of us. They trumpet the free-market and competition and then they rig the rules of that competition in their favor. George Bush was born not only with a silver spoon in his mouth, but a pack of golden parachutes strapped to his back.

The same worldview that makes possible Bush's National Guard admission and allowed him to disobey orders with no consequence writes tax loopholes for the mega-rich and transfers wealth from the middle class and the lower rungs of the upper class to the mega-rich while denying the working poor living wages.

The same worldview that makes possible Bush's National Guard admission and allowed him to disobey orders with no consequence allows Enrons to happen where CEO's can lie and run a company into the ground and profit from that behavior, leaving employees and their jobs their 401K's in ruins. George Bush used another one of his golden parachutes for something like this at Harken Energy.

The same worldview possible that makes Bush's National Guard admission and allowed him to disobey orders with no consequence lets soldiers' families live in poverty while defense contractors get billions for weapons systems that will never work.

They are lying hypocrites with a seriously flawed moral system. We'll get these sob's if we can take all these little instances that show the truth and integrate them into a big picture critique of their worldview and define there worldview for what it really is while offering a morally compelling, coherent worldview of our own.

30. Notice How The Camera Doesn't Split Screen
When Eskew is badmouthing Kerry and lying out of his ass about Bush's "honorable, honorable" service. When Carville starts talking they go to a split screen and show Eskew shaking his head in disbelief.

They want to show the republican's reaction to the attack on Bush, but not visa versa....
