"Cheney spits toads"
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/09/09/opinion/09dowd.html?hp

"He finally simply spit out what the Bush team has been more subtly trying to convey for months: A vote for John Kerry is a vote for the terrorists."

"'Because if we make the wrong choice,' Mr. Cheney said in Des Moines in that calm baritone, 'then the danger is that we'll get hit again. That we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States, and that we'll fall back into the pre-9/11 mind-set if you will, that in fact these terrorist attacks are just criminal acts, and that we're not really at war.'"

...

"It's like that fairy tale where vipers and toads jump out of the mouth of the accursed mean little girl when she tries to speak. Every time Mr. Cheney opens his mouth, vermin leap out."

Cheney even worse than "Wormtongue" - he's "Vermin Mouth".

5. RIchard Clarke was on KGO today
and he was asked if the terrorists were more likely to strike if Bush or Kerry was elected. He said it wouldn't matter who got elected, that we would probably be hit again because there still aren't the right security measures in place (like beefing up railroad security.)

He was also asked who Osama would prefer as President and he said probably Bush since he's really helped with Osama's recruiting.

And for those Republicans who accuse him of being a Democratic hack, he was on with a guy he is supporting for Congress in Redwood City who is a moderate Republican.
