Ugh! Salem judge puts Nader on ballot in Oregon
Appeals expected. Can't Nader just shrivel up and go live under a rock?

2. can't the people who support him turn away...
this is such an important election...and I know they feel so strongly that nader stands for something --but he won't make a difference at this point..he can only sway the election to a bad place...--naderites really want another 4 years of bush??? that is what they are saying when they vote for Nader

3. He shouldn't be kept off the ballot
I don't think he'll matter anyway. Most will vote for Kerry this time around, but he should be on the ballot. People should have a choice. We don't defeat facism with more facism.

5. Nader needs to follow the rules like everyone else....
if he can't manage that, he doesn't belong on any ballot.

7. It's not a problem this time
Look, I remember back in 2000, Nader could've got on the ballot 10 times over just by canvassing Multnomah county alone. This time around, he couldn't even fill an auditorium with supporters in the heart of radical Portland.

Kerry is going to win Oregon by a safe margin this time. Nader will not be a factor.

BTW, an ICR poll comparing the race w/Nader to the race w/oNader:
New ICR poll, conducted September 1st-5th ...
With Nader, among 'likely voters': Bush:46, Kerry: 46, Nader: 4.
Without Nader, among 'likely voters': Bush 48, Kerry 47.
Without Nader, among 'registered voters': Bush 46, Kerry 47.

Looks like Nader is getting a bit of that disgruntled bush vote, not hurting Kerry at all.
