I actually found out what's worse than Bush's acceptance speech
Edited on Thu Sep-09-04 02:59 PM by JohnKleeb
I had political science today in school, so first we watched Bush's which was dreadfully painful to watch, I tried to be fair though but I could not believe it but I put in some good points in like the coalition countries arent taking the deaths we are so thus its not a true coalition, that when Kerry said he had conservative values, he meant he had traditional american values which he does, and etc. So then I :scared: had to watch Michael Petrouka instead of Michael Bardanik who I expected we would watch. This guy was insane, he was right about the war being wrong but he was nuts, blaming everything on sodomites and hollywood, and that fatherhood is ridiculed now, and that the founding fathers had this as a christian country. He really wants a government run by his faith and that only, oh and guys lets try to get wingnuts to vote for Petrouka heh so he can serve as a spoiler, may not work because the class right wingers found him pathetic too.

2. no we've been anaylizing the candiates' acceptance speeches
So I got to see Kerry's lovely docu narrated by the damn good morgan freeman and his kick ass speech, I am not an emotional person but when I heard and saw it, I wanted to a little because I really like and dare I say love Kerry a lot, he's a great guy. Bush really got me upset when he said the bs that he did, and I like to think I debated it decently and Petrouka just scared me, sure he's against the war but that man is proof that single issue voting is wrong, and he's insane too, maybe hes principled and I can give him that over Bush but Bush actually seemed normal after this guy.

3. John, do yourself a favor and read his 2000 acceptance speech
You will find it most enlightening with regards to his "vision"....it really was a foreshadowing of things to some. It was posted here last week by Moonbeam_Starlight
