Bush's AWOL - Will It Have Legs?
There were so many times when some outrageous event would happen in this administration, and many of us said..."That's it...Bush is toast." But nothing seems to stick. In a matter of days it was forgotten. Time and time again, I would hope and pray that the latest event would be the undoing of this idiot...Yet, I still wait in amazement that he hasn't been drug from the Oval Office and sent packing.

Question is... Will this latest revelation of Bush's lack of service finally stick? Is this the one?

2. The world is laughing at Americans, they think we're all dumb and
we all support AWOL/Deferment but hopefully, VETS will finally come forward and pick up their weapons once again...the TRUTH...and not let AWOL slither into public office again.

3. It only has to have legs until 8-14
when Kitty Kelly's new book shoves the spoon up his nose...A tablespoon.

4. It should have stuck four years ago,
and it still hasn't received anything like the play of the "swift boat" smear.

I don't have much hope for it, but this card still must be played, and ruthlessly. If, for no other reason, than that it's the bloody truth.

10. 4 years ago the media only cared about Gore's inventing the internet
I am still waiting for an apology for that.

5. It doesn't need legs, it needs scoops....
There's no one item that's going to skewer *, just facts we have to keep pounding away with, to scoop the dirt out from his big-coer-it-up clown shoes and undermine the faith his True Believers have in him.

6. I doubt it
The story made the rounds in 2000 though not to this degree. Those who support Bush will continue to do so. Maybe a couple on the fence folks will throw up their hands in disgust and stay home.

7. I hope so...
an eye for an eye...lets run it into the ground. I want Bush to at least feel it for a few weeks like we had to endure the SBV. 60 minutes has turned a lousy week into what feels like a party now. heehee

11. Probably not unless the Dems can link it to current Bush* behavior
We, not the media, have to overcome the hurdle of "that's old news" and "he's not like that anymore since he found Jesus!".

We should be linking his AWOL to his dereliction of duty before 9/11, his constant vacationing, and his using personal ties to get whatever he wants without paying any consequences.

13. Link it to his lack of accountability
He didn't have to accept the consequences of his derelection of duty in the TANG. And when you hear him talk, he's still the same spoiled youth waiting for his father to bail him out that he was in 1972 and 1973: "inherited recession," "9/11 was Clinton's fault," "terrorist attacks ruined the economy," "bad intelligence from the CIA." That's the link.

12. it MAY if..
The Project PULL and the cocaine thing can get into the media. The Guard shit is more of the same when you break it all down. The missing time, his sudden interest in doing community work for under priveleged inner city youth is touching on first glance, but court ordered in reality and a sweetheart deal through Poppy.

Pass it on to whatever kind ear you may know in the media or print. Im sure there's more links out there somewhere.
