Also, I'd love to see the Fairness Doctrine re-instated.

Preparations to bring our troops home and end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I know that Obama plans to stay in Afghanistan, but I've also heard him say he'd like a mix of more international troops there as well.

frustrated yesterday in the voting booth. On the one hand I was happy to help Obama beat McPalin, but on the other hand I was very sad not to be able to support my own party. If enough Greens did what I did we could wind up short on the vote percentage and lose ballot status. :(

13. My first 100 days

1. Close Gitmo AND fair trials for all who are there. It's only fair.
2. Provide loan guarantees to the domestic auto industry. (Personally, those should come from Toyota's back, but that's up to him.) We need the jobs saved, and fast.
3. Change financial regulations and break up investment and savings banks. No more repeats of the meltdown.
4. Get Bu$h to fire Paulson. Right now. In the midst of such a crisis, there is no way an investment banker belongs leading treasury.
5. Plan to get out of Iraq. Cutting and running is probably not a good idea, but we need to have a plan to get out ASAP.
6. National regulation allowing same-sex marriages. This has to come at a national level, because too many homophobes exist in state legislatures.
