Junior is "a skilled debater"?
Just got this email from the DNC:

"After four years of failed policies and broken promises, George W. Bush will have to answer to the American people at the first Presidential debate.

But make no mistake, he is a skilled debater. In fact, George Bush has never lost a debate in his entire political career."

Skilled debater? He can't even talk. Where did that come from?

13. Try To Get * To Believe it Himself Too
Because Shrub would be a damn fool to debate Kerry, ever.
As long as he doesn't, the media pretty much keeps Kerry off the air.
Kerry's $75M of fed money buys only a few hours of TV airtime, total,
from now until Election day.
That's nothing compared to what the networks are giving * every week for free.

We are banking totally on the debates to give Kerry a chance to get
his message to the voters. If Boosh bails on the debates, we're screwed.

2. Set the expectations high for the Shrub...
...he's gotten away with low expectations in the past. So if he can survive a debate without drowning in drool and piss, he wins.

3. * has always enjoyed the "soft bigotry of low expectations"
It's how he was touted as "winning" the debates against Gore - because he didn't make a COMPLETE fool of himself, as everyone expected him to, then he "won."

So by putting the idea out there that the debates are *'s to lose, the bar is set higher.

4. It's TRUE, shrub is a great debater!
He has yet to lose a debate...this is TRUE. Kerry spoke of this himself.

Get it? *wink* *wink*

intellect; that's our George.

He's never lost. I tremble in fear at what he will do. No, really.

My concern is who decides which questions to ask? I really don't know how they do that.

edited for spelling

12. Expect the moderators to be completely biased
and to make certain that Bush can avoid tough questions and simply use his canned rhetoric.

14. Oh Yea Bush is a hellva debater...........it's hard to beat him
Thank God Al Gore had that fine looking make-up on (orange is so becoming on him, don't you think) otherwise the results of that debate would have been a bigger win for Bush.

I'm NOT looking forward to this year's debates. At least Rove did us a favor and now wants cut the number down to two. Just think what Bush could do to Kerry if they had three or more debates. (SHUDDER).

"That's right...I'm a Master d'bater...Say that fast three times! Heeyuk!

"Boy, Karl's face juss got real red...He's yeelin' somethin' at somebody...Sure gald it ain't me...Hmmm....wait a minute..."

16. The bigotry of low expectations...
made Junior look better than he really was. Because he didn't drool, pass gas or throw up during the debates all the talking-heads declared him the winner.

Gore was much better but the media played up his negative traits, thus making him appear like the loser.

Some people actually identify with Dumya because of the folksy, down-home image he trys to project. So if he stumbles and bumbles that's okay because he's just like them.

21. Guilt will overcome Bush
We have to keep in mind that Bush will remain confident until the debate, but will show signs of weakness due to the guilt that he MUST feel (if he is human) when faced with real questions and no script.

22. Let's face it:
last time, all he needed to do was avoid wetting his pants and all were ready to award him a win.

We can't let the stupid expectations game get us this time. When the eh hm "soft bigotry of low expectations" helps a so-called president win a debate without making any salient points, it's a problem for our side.

So, yeah, he's a great debater. Expect it will be tough for Kerry...
