Way to treat the family elders
It was so nice to see President Obama and Vice President Biden usher Joe's Mom and Michelle's Mom up front to be honored by the crowd last night. Unlike the McCain family who left John's Mom standing alone while they stomped off the stage. McCain did stop and give her a tiny peck, but Cindy didn't even look at her.

Teach your children well...

1. I noticed that right away....
It started when Joe Biden had that oh-so-tender moment with his sweet mother as he left their home to join Obama as VP candidate. He held her face in his hands and the love and respect spilled from his eyes.
Then yesterday, he gently took her hand in his and they went to the polls together to vote.
He is crazy in love with his dear mom.

President Obama, speaking of Toot, let the tears flow freely down his face. These men are the real deal. I tear up every time I think of these moments.
The McCain Clan is the poster child for fucking dysfunctional.
John's mother is most likely a very sweet lady.
Her son though, I'm convinced, hates women. To him, they're just to be used and then discarded.

Yup...Teach your children well.
(got that song going through my head now and it's not a bad thing!)

3. You saw it too.
I felt sorry for Ma McCain. She didn't do anything wrong.

If I had to choose a family that I thought had decent family values, it would be the Obama/Biden clan.
