I'm thinking of Arizona and Texas. Definently Georgia too; this time with a full court press.

Then we'll have the whole east coast part of the south. And start working on that western part of the midwest - CO already, so now go for MT, ND and even Idaho!

6. Nope, not here. Try Arizona. In-migration of Californians, etc.
South Carolina will have to be dragged into the 21st Century kicking and screaming. Even Georgia will go blue before we do.

Both our wretches are up in 2012 (AZ).

Surely the old fart won't try for another (but I put nothing past him).

Our future is with the Southwest, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain states. What it would take to win in the south simply isn't worth it, at least on a national level.

With an ever increasing Hispanic population and dying off older racist population, I think Texas is trending democractic in a big way.

22. Alabama, not all of the counties were red.
In fact all of the counties along US-80 east to west and Jefferson county were all blue. In Montgomery county where I live, almost 60% voted for Obama. So there is hope. That and we have a democrat replacing Terry Everett's seat, so we gained one in the US house. :D

We're going to turn it blue. Give us maybe one or two more presidential cycles, three or four total including midterms. Should be all we need.

There's plenty of us here that will join the cause - it's just that our state party has abandoned us and has gone AWOL for eight long years. We're in the damn stone age again, after all the gains we have made on our own since 2000.
