The reason we need to remain optimistic and positive about this campaign
It's about turnout! If we permit the other side to demoralize us with their fake polls and false confidence, we will put ourselves in a hole. We need to believe that we can win this race. If you are having doubts, force yourself to believe - not for yourself - but for others that need the optimism. We need to get a high turnout. The other side always does best when they can keep turnout low. Confuse them with your smiles and confidence...We are gonna win this thing!

1. What keeps me awake
Will the corporatations and the Chimp supporters lie dormant if or when Kerry wins ?
i don't see them playing by the rules ever. I just wonder what form the assalut will take and how they will try to wrest the White House back into their possession.

Kerry well may win. I am tending to think this will happen. Its what happens next that I am pondering

3. No doubt, it's not a time for a passive president.
Kerry needs to be aggressive for some big changes.

2. Underlying all my passion for this campaign is my
anger about the 2000 election. If only I had worked harder THEN motivates me now.

So,I leaflet, register new voters, make calls, give money and soon I and millions like me can vote this lousy bunch OUT

5. In a way, GW wins either way..
Unfortunately..

Suppose GW wins the election. Four more years of the country getting messed up, even further, by this administration. Lots more damage can be done. Any way for GW and his pack of liars and thieves to be held accountable for their mess? Seemingly not.

Suppose Kerry wins the election. GW hands him a burning bag of crap - Iraq, the deficit, the economy, about 20 years worth of bad world diplomacy to overcome.

Remember, being a modern Republican means never having to say you're sorry.

8. You're right. We need to remain positive.
Unfortunately, there is a lot of fear and much well-needed grieving we have to do. I'm not there yet (optimism), but I'm working on it.

I just spoke with a young mother at church last night. She told me her 7-yr-old said "mommy, I'm scared that the terrorists are going to come and kill us."

GODDAMMIT, THAT MAKES ME MAD!!!!!!

Now we have trickle-down fear. When I was 7, I was vaguely aware of the Vietnam War, but I was never afraid.

THANK YOU, DICK CHENEY, FOR SCARING OUR CHILDREN.
God is watching, and she ain't happy.

(ahem) thank you for letting me rant.

10. Bush needs out. period.
as much as I love Kerry this election is still ABB for many Americans. If we register them and remind them to vote (and help them there) this election is ours. Slam dunk.
