The same could be said some 4 years ago, when we also had a choice ....
This nation wound up being lead by an extremist party bent on kleptocracy and plutocracy ... a party willing to ignore the signs of impending attack, and go on extended, undeserved vacations ....
On August 6th of 2001, THIS Administration read a memo that was quite clearly titled: "Al Qaeda Determined to Strike in US" ...
What did they do ? .... THEY SKIPPED TOWN .....
They fished .....
They ... 'cleared brush' ....
For a month ..... a FUCKING MONTH ! ....
Yes: we had a choice in 2000: we could vote for a president who would have protected us, or one who wouldn't protect us ....
Dick Cheney ? ... YOU were selected to lead this nation in 2000: YOU had an obligation to protect our nation : an obligation which you miserably failed to fulfill ....
