The freeps' desperate and illogical reasoning that the CBS documents are 'forgeries' shows just how damaging the freeps feel they are against Bush.

They are giving the documents legitimacy by desperately trying to explain them away and by their childish and illogical reasons they are 'fake.'

CBS will have the last word on this because they have access to airwaves and can do a follow-up story EVEN BIGGER than the first story to demonstrate that the memos are REAL.

I mean, now ALL the media is interested in the story, so it has wide appeal and will have a wide follow-up and the result will be: the docs are legit.

...the smokescreen bullshit is "these docs are fake." The real issue is that they continue to raise questions about gee-dubya's guard service, that evidently $hrubco can't or won't answer. The issue is NOT if the docs are the right font or not. Smells like kkkarl rrrove to me. And already there are several DUers loudly proclaiming "fake," and "you're in denial." Yeah, right.

4. The local RW hate-talk radio here had a woman on who was a

self-proclaimed document expert. She said the documents were fake because the lettering had variable spacing and all typewriters have the same space between letters. Therefore, they had to be created by a word processor! I know this is false, because the IBM Executive, which I used in the early '70s had different spacing for different letters. For example, an upper case W had a much wider space than a lower case i. This woman was so stupid it made me sick.

...and I am employed in the printing industry and was a typesetter/compositor for years. I am here to tell you, all the bullshit about fonts and spacing is just that, bullshit!!! It's all designed to obscure the real information.
