2. I had a light bulb moment.......
.... I think so many campaigns suffer from in-fighting and tattle tailing because most of the people who make up the campaign are simply taking advantage of an opportunity to rise to power themselves. Did the McCain/Palin folks who are now teling on one another work for the campaign because they REALLY believed in the ideal that McCain and Palin represented, or were they just trying to further their careers?

I believe that those working for the Obama camp maintained self discipline because they TRULY did not want to ruin IT. It's like how Rowland Martin said in the days before the election that his family members (who were obviously African American) were calling him BEGGING "not to say anything that would mess it up for Obama."

Those in the Obama campaing were not trying to get ahead ....... they were trying to move the country ahead.

Just like Axelrod said, it was sad when it all came to end because it was a singular moment that they could never go back to.

I just hope that power does not corrupt.

3. I don't see power corrupting Obama ore these guys, they are so grounded and normal

Especially David Plouffe. My God, that man is so down to earth and steady. Like they said in the interview as well, Obama's highs are not too high and his lows are not too low. He is no drama Obama. I don't see him changing the inner core of who he is.

6. Yeah, I knew when I typed that I should have been more clear....
.... I dont think it will corrupt Axe and I KNOW it wont corrupt Obama.

It's the folks farther down the chain that I'm speaking of. Will the ship be as tight in '12?

If I have faith anyone, it's these guys.

5. Were they ever a pretty sight? Carville has always been manic
and Steph was always a weenie. Not much changed.

8. I wish they had given some credit to Howard Dean and his 50 state strategy
if it wasn't for him, Obama might not have even considered going to those other states.

Otherwise it was a great segment.

9. I wish the segment had been longer. Should have dedicated the whole show...
...to the topic. You can't condense the "behind the scenes" thing in to a 15 minute segment.

11. Bobby Gibbs had lost his voice and looked worn out.
Definitely didn't look like your typical 37-year-old.
